What is Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking is a form of human trafficking that involves the exploitation of individuals for sexual purposes. Sex trafficking is a serious crime that violates the basic rights and dignity of the victims. Sex traffickers often use violence, threats, deception, and other forms of coercion to recruit and control victims.

Sex trafficking can affect individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds, and it can occur in a variety of different settings, including hotels, massage parlors, and online platforms. Sex trafficking is a global problem, and it is often connected to other forms of organized crime, such as drug trafficking and money laundering. The successful prosecution of sex traffickers is an important step in preventing and combating this crime.
