Online Safety

Online safety refers to the practices and measures that individuals and organizations can take to protect themselves and their information from risks and threats on the internet. Online safety is important because the internet is a global network that is used for a wide range of activities, including communication, commerce, and entertainment. However, the internet also presents many risks, such as viruses, malware, phishing scams, and other forms of cybercrime. Online safety involves the use of various tools and practices, such as firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, and secure browsing, to protect against these risks and to keep internet users safe. It also involves being aware of potential risks and taking steps to avoid them, such as not clicking on suspicious links or giving out personal information to unknown parties.
