Jabalpur News: Nefarious RPF adopting new methods of human trafficking

Large-scale measures have been taken to curb human trafficking in trains. For this, RPF has worked hard to create awareness among people about the campaign. It was also a huge success. To this extent Pradeep Gupta, Principal Chief Security Commissioner of West Central Railway said. A one day workshop was conducted at Jabalpur Railway Division office. Senior officials of Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota RPF along with officials of social organizations participated in the program. West Central Railway Chief Security Commissioner Maheshwar Singh, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner Jabalpur Arun Tripathi, Assistant Security Commissioner Vijay Kuma and others participated in this training program organized for the anti-human trafficking units of the division.

His experiences of human trafficking. He gave detailed information about human trafficking as well as new methods of child trafficking. Awareness was also created on the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act against the accused who are involved in trafficking. Principal Chief Security Commissioner Pradeep Gupta said help desks have been set up at various stations along with Jabalpur – Anti-trafficking units have been set up at all RPF posts in Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota divisions to prevent human trafficking. Continuous action is being taken by them by coordinating with other units at the district level. Above, Divisional Security Commissioner Arun Tripathi informed about the standard procedure order issued by Railway Board. He said that there is a help desk with child help line at Jabalpur station. Help desks have been set up at Katni, Sagar, Maihar, Satna, Narsinghpur and Damo stations.
