Virtuous Announces Record Growth on the Heels of Recent Product Expansion

Virtuous is on a mission to grow global generosity through its one-of-a-kind Responsive Fundraising Platform that empowers nonprofits to connect more personally with donors, advocates, and volunteers.

The Virtuous platform is designed for mid-market and enterprise nonprofits who are seeking to drive increased generosity and grow their impact. Virtuous has experienced triple-digit growth each of the last two years and is tracking to double again in 2022. Despite recent economic trends, Virtuous experienced record growth in Q2 with a 157% increase over the Q2 of 2021. Recent growth has been driven by Virtuous' industry-leading Marketing Automation and CRM capabilities, along with the new innovative additions of Events and Volunteer functionality designed to meet the holistic needs of growing nonprofits.

“We couldn't be more excited about our growth. But more importantly, we're seeing our nonprofit customers raise more money, engage more volunteers, and drive more impact by adopting a more responsive strategy,” says Gabe Cooper, Virtuous Founder and CEO.

Virtuous continues to serve nonprofits in traditional nonprofit verticals like Human Services, Faith, and Relief/Development, but 2022 has seen increased expansion into the University and sectors as the product has evolved to meet the needs of additional verticals. This year, Virtuous has partnered with amazing organizations that span causes like anti-, animal welfare, food insecurity, scouting, environmental issues, hospital foundations, and more.

“Virtuous has been extremely helpful for our organization. It allows us to pull reports and data on donors very easily, and allows us to send out automated emails and see insights and feedback. That has allowed us to grow our organization organically and know what our donors respond to,” says Alaynah Morrow, US Operations Manager for The Freedom Story, an organization working to prevent .

Along with the recent growth, Virtuous is doubling down on its commitment to help customers excel on the platform and improve key generosity metrics.

“Our north star goal is to help our nonprofit customers provably create $1B in net new generosity,” says Gabe Cooper. “Simply helping nonprofits maintain the giving they already have isn't enough. We are focused on driving net new giving for the organizations we serve.”

Virtuous customer satisfaction scores are over 90%, and the company is seeing measurable increases in financial giving and volunteerism across its customer base. In a season where inflation and scarcity mindsets prevail, Virtuous is helping its clients unlock greater generosity in the hearts and minds of their supporters.

Virtuous Volunteer

The new Virtuous Volunteer Platform (formerly VOMO) is helping drive success by directly connecting volunteerism and fundraising across the nonprofit organization. The elegant volunteer tools help recruit, engage, and manage volunteers while maintaining a seamless integration with the CRM and broader nonprofit team, resulting in a true holistic generosity platform propelling nonprofit clients' impact forward. By expanding to volunteerism, Virtuous is helping solve for a broader set of needs with the nonprofit organization.

“I could not be more excited to have VOMO become a part of the Virtuous family. Together, we are changing the landscape of what it means to be a responsive nonprofit. For the first time in our space, we can now unlock dollars and people at scale for our clients, resulting in transformative change in the organizations we serve, their communities, and the world,” said Rob Peabody, VOMO Co-Founder & CEO (now President of Virtuous Volunteer).

Virtuous Events

Virtuous Events now allows nonprofits to connect their golf tournament or gala registrations directly to key donor insights and automations that ensure donors feel personally engaged through every channel. By connecting CRM, Donor Signals and Events, Virtuous customers are now able to measure and drive effective fundraising events in more relevant and innovative ways.

Responsive Teams

“What's been incredible is having the Virtuous team be so responsive,” says Rebekah Jones, Development Director of Made to Flourish, a nonprofit organization. “Virtuous talks about responsive fundraising and encourages us to be responsive with our donors, but I have noticed that Virtuous takes the same posture with us as clients. That's been the biggest thing that we've loved, where we've been able to work together with the Virtuous team.”
