Los Angeles is known for its diverse population, its vibrant culture, and its many attractions, such as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Disneyland. The city is also a major center of industry and commerce, with a thriving entertainment, technology, and international trade sectors. Los Angeles is located on the Pacific coast, near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It has a Mediterranean climate, with mild, wet winters and hot, dry summers.
