A community is a group of people who live or work in the same area and who share common interests, values, and goals. Communities can be small, such as a neighborhood, or large, such as a city or a country. The members of a community may be connected by social, economic, cultural, or other ties. Communities often have a sense of identity and may have shared institutions, such as schools, religious organizations, or community centers.
