Foundation Day of Children friends club Margherita held at Bogapani, Digboi

Children Friends Club(NGO) Margherita on Sunday 1st January organised its 4th foundation day at Bogapani, Digboi under Tinsukia District where 6 persons from various fields were felicitated with citation and traditional Assamese phoolam gamosha for their outstanding contribution towards the society and state.

Papu Sah president of Children friends club Margherita said that the main objectives and aims of our NGO is to look after child related issues such as child labour, child trafficking, child abuse and mainly right to education of children so on 1st January 2019 myself along with Chura Giri retired HOD Sociology department Margherita college and social worker of Margherita Dwaraj Simon constituted Children friends club(NGO) at Margherita under Tinsukia District.

Many school children performed various cultural songs and dance which enthralled the present audience which the programme was supported by Legal awareness Network Centre Margherita.

Young entrepreneur and social worker of Lekhapani Chand Prakash Jaiswal, social worker of Margherita Rikki Sharma and Arun Rastogi,social worker Bobby Hazarika of Digboi, Vishal Maurya of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and Mithun Baruah treasurer of Margherita Journalists Association were felicitated with a citation and a traditional Assamese phoolam gamosha said Papu Sah.

Guest of honour were felicitated with traditional Assamese phoolam gamosha and a Xarai where Dr Sanjib Sonowal radiologist of NEC Central hospital Margherita, social worker of Margherita Umesh Borah, Dr. Niharika Borah of Digboi civil hospital, LuckyMaa Mech Karmakar COVDO of Digboi police station, Margherita Journalists Association vice president Bikash Baruah executive members Abdul Alim and Zahid Ali, social worker of Margherita Om Prakash sah, Umesh Prasad and many others resource and distinguished persons were present at the foundation day programme said Papu Sah.
