Tarrant County 5 Stones Human Trafficking Coalition November 2022 Meeting

Here is our recorded meeting link and chat notes for our 5 Stones November 2022 meeting! Also note there is NO meeting in December!

Our 5 Stones meeting this November consisted of a year-end review, a montage of taskforce agency WINS over the past year, and a celebration of three award-winning community leaders.  Our Excellence award went to Commander Turner of the Tarrant County Sherriff's Office, our Victim Advocacy award went to Chris Cage with Unbound North Texas, and our Community Impact award went to Lindy Borchardt with the District Attorney's Office!  Congratulations to all of our 2022 award winners!!!

This month we had 6 agency announcements:

  • Felicia Grantham – FWPD
  • Ty Bowden – The Net
  • CJ Winslow – Catering to Love
    • Catering to Love is accepting applications for non-profit events that need catering services.  Contact [email protected] for more information and to request help with an event.
  • Lindy Borchardt – District Attorney's Office
    • ACDA Lindy Borchardt announced that Tarrant County tried a recent trafficking case and the defendant was found guilty on 3 counts of Child and 1 count of of a Child.  The defendant received 25 years on each count and a fine.  
  • Margaret Cohenour – Paluxy River CAC
    • We are excited to have Sasha Joseph Neulinger, Child Sex Abuse Survivor, in Granbury on March 29th to do a screening of his documentary Rewind, keynote presentation and Q and A's. 9-2pm at the Lake Granbury Conference Center. There is no charge to attend.  [email protected]
