Our 5 Stones meeting this August featured a panel of experts who discussed what it takes to open and sustain a residential facility for trafficked victims. On the panel were: Lindsey Speed with Traffick911, Landon Dickeson with Ranch Hands Rescue, Abby Germer with Refuge for Women North Texas, and Carrie Grace with Freedom Shield Foundation.

- Tirzah Brown – Unbound North Texas
- Unbound is hiring for the Underground. For more information or to apply, email [email protected].
- Lindy Borchardt – District Attorney's Office
- Introducing Amanda Nicodem as a new addition to the D.A.'s Human Trafficking Unit.
- Patricia Tamayo – FWISD
- Parents in FWISD will need to opt-in for their students to get anti-trafficking education in the Spring semester.
- Det. Orand – FWPD
- Felicia got engaged (yes, so my name and email will be changing in the Spring!)
It is that time of year again to nominate community difference-makers for the 5 Stones award!
We have 3 categories for awards: Law Enforcement Excellence, Victim Advocacy, and Community Impact. You may nominate up to 3 people, one per category. All nominees will be reviewed by the 5-Stones steering committee and the top candidate in each category will be chosen. The awards will be presented at the end of November, 2022.
