World Day Against Trafficking

World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is an international observance that is held on July 30 each year. The day was established by the United Nations in 2013 to raise awareness about human trafficking and to encourage governments and individuals to take action to prevent and combat this crime. Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery that involves the exploitation of people for labor or sexual purposes. It is a global problem that affects millions of people, and is often linked to organized crime. World Day Against Trafficking in Persons provides an opportunity for people around the world to come together to raise awareness about human trafficking and to support efforts to combat this crime.
