It is not uncommon for pimps to refer to the women and girls they exploit as “wifeys.” This term may be used as a way for the pimp to assert control and ownership over the victim and to create a false sense of intimacy or loyalty. Pimps may use a variety of tactics, including physical abuse, psychological manipulation, and threats of violence, to control and exploit their victims, who are often forced into prostitution against their will.

Pimping is a form of human trafficking and is illegal in most countries. It is important to recognize the signs of pimp-controlled sex trafficking and to report any suspected cases to the authorities. If you or someone you know is being controlled or exploited by a pimp, it is important to seek help and support from a trusted source, such as a crisis hotline or a law enforcement agency.
