Modern slavery, also known as contemporary slavery or neo-slavery, refers to the practice of holding people in bondage or servitude through force, coercion, or deception. This can take many forms, including forced labor, sex trafficking, bonded labor, and other forms of exploitation. Modern slavery is a global problem that affects millions of people around the world, and it is a violation of fundamental human rights. It is important to understand the root causes of modern slavery and to work together to end this practice.
