International

International means involving or relating to more than one country. It can refer to things that happen or exist between countries, such as international trade, international relations, or international law. It can also refer to things that are shared by or are common to many countries, such as languages, organizations, or standards.

The term “international” is often used to distinguish something that is not limited to a single country or region. For example, an international organization is one that is made up of members from multiple countries, and international law is a set of rules that applies to multiple countries. In contrast, something that is national is limited to a single country or nation.

Overall, the term is often used to describe things that happen or exist on a global scale, or that involve multiple countries.

There are 195 countries in the world. This includes 193 countries that are members of the United Nations, as well as two countries that are not UN members but are recognized by the organization: the Holy See (Vatican City) and the State of Palestine.

Transnational

Transnational refers to something that transcends national boundaries or involves multiple countries. This can apply to a wide range of things, such as organizations, activities, or ideas. For example, a transnational corporation is a company that operates in multiple countries, and a transnational crime is a crime that is committed in more than one country. Transnationalism is a term that is often used in the context of globalization, as it refers to the interconnectedness of people, organizations, and ideas across national borders.
