Destination Country

A Destination Country is a country where victims of human trafficking are brought for exploitation. These countries can be both developed and developing nations, and may be either the final destination for trafficking victims or a transit point to another destination. The demand for cheap labor or commercial sex, as well as weak law enforcement and social protection systems, can make a country an attractive destination for traffickers.
