Awareness

Awareness is the state of being conscious or having knowledge of something. Awareness can refer to an individual’s understanding of a particular situation or fact, as well as to a broader understanding or recognition of a particular issue or problem. For example, an individual might have awareness of their own thoughts and feelings, or of a particular event or phenomenon.

In a broader sense, awareness can also refer to the collective recognition or understanding of a particular issue, such as environmental awareness or cancer awareness.

Raising awareness is often seen as an important step in addressing and solving social or environmental problems.
