Aftercare

Aftercare is the support and services provided to victims of human trafficking after they have left a trafficking situation. Aftercare services can include a range of things, such as medical and mental health care, legal assistance, housing and livelihood support, and other social services. The goal of aftercare is to help victims recover from the trauma of trafficking and to rebuild their lives in a safe and sustainable way. Aftercare services can be provided by a range of organizations, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other community-based groups. It is important for victims of trafficking to have access to comprehensive aftercare services to help them heal and rebuild their lives.
