INTERPOL

INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) is an international organization that facilitates cooperation between police agencies around the world. It was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Lyon, France. INTERPOL has member countries in all regions of the world and works to support global law enforcement efforts by providing a range of services and resources. These include sharing information and intelligence, coordinating investigations, and assisting with the extradition of fugitives. INTERPOL also works to promote cooperation and coordination between its member countries on issues related to public safety and security, including terrorism, cybercrime, and organized crime. The organization does not have its own law enforcement officers or powers of arrest, but it serves as a hub for international police cooperation.
