Congratulations to William Osler Health System Director of Public Safety and Parking Services Calvin Millar for being named one of this year's Higher Education/Healthcare Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.
Here are some of his notable achievements:
- Set up the second COVID-19 pandemic assessment center in Canada, and the first in Ontario. He was then consulted in helping to set up multiple other assessment centers around the nation.
- Helped develop the corporate pandemic plan for William Osler Health System.
- Organized police symposiums, bring in subject matter experts to the hospital on human trafficking, safe drug handling, open source intelligence, and preparing for a career in law enforcement.
