Cambodia deports 263 more illegal foreigners – Khmer Times

As the pressure of the anti human trafficking crackdown in Cambodia continues, The Kingdom today announced that a further 263 foreigners have been deported after being arrested for crossing the border and staying illegally

The came from the General Department of this morning

The GDI says that on October 20-22, 2022, the General Department of Immigration deported 263 foreigners from 4 nationalities, including 2 Bangladeshis, 16 Thais, 171 Vietnamese nationals and 74 Chinese nationals in accordance with the Immigration Law at the Phnom Penh International Airport Gate Police Station and the Bavet and Trapeang Phlong International Border Gate Police Stations.

The above 263 foreigners were arrested in connection with the crime of illegal border crossing, being without a passport, stealing, staying, working illegally in violation of the law on immigration, to be evicted according to the Prakas of the Ministry of Interior and prohibited Entry into Cambodia for 3 years.
