World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

The World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is an annual event held on July 30 to raise awareness of human trafficking and to promote efforts to prevent and combat this crime. The day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2013, and is observed by governments, organizations, and individuals around the world. Activities on this day can include events, educational campaigns, and other initiatives to raise awareness and support for the fight against trafficking. The theme for the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons in 2021 is “Committed to the Cause: Working on the Frontline to End Human Trafficking.”
