Vulnerability is the state of being exposed to the risk of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. Vulnerability can arise from a variety of factors, including physical weakness, lack of knowledge or resources, or a lack of support or protection. Individuals or groups who are vulnerable may be at greater risk of experiencing harm, abuse, or exploitation. Vulnerability can affect individuals and communities in many different ways, and it can have a significant impact on their health, safety, and well-being. Vulnerability can be reduced through the provision of support, resources, and protection, and by addressing the underlying causes of vulnerability.
