Victim Identification

Victim Identification refers to the process of identifying individuals who have been trafficked or are at risk of being trafficked. In the context of human trafficking, victim identification is a critical step in preventing trafficking and providing support to victims. Identification efforts may involve outreach and education to vulnerable populations, such as migrant workers or runaways, as well as training for law enforcement and other front-line responders to recognize the signs of trafficking. Identification may also involve screening and assessment of individuals who have been rescued from trafficking situations to determine their needs and provide appropriate support.
