The UK is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government and Queen Elizabeth II as the head of state. The capital of the UK is London, which is also the largest city. The official language is English, and the currency is the British pound. The UK has a diverse population and a long and rich history. It is known for its cultural and artistic achievements, as well as its political and economic systems. The UK is a member of the United Nations, the European Union, and many other international organizations.
