Testimony

Testimony is a statement or declaration made under oath or affirmation in a court of law or other legal proceeding. It is a form of evidence that is presented in order to prove or establish a fact or the truth of something. Testimony can be given orally, in writing, or through some other means, such as a video recording. In a legal proceeding, testimony is typically given by witnesses who have personal knowledge of the matter at hand and are able to provide information or evidence to support their statements. Testimony is subject to cross-examination, which is the process of questioning the witness by the opposing party in order to challenge or test the accuracy and reliability of their statements.
