Organ Trafficking

Organ trafficking is the illegal trade of organs for transplantation. This can involve the sale or purchase of organs by individuals or organizations, often across international borders. Organ trafficking is a serious crime and a violation of human rights. It often involves the exploitation of vulnerable people, such as poor individuals who are offered money in exchange for their organs, or people who are forced to donate their organs against their will. Organ trafficking can also have negative health effects for the donors and recipients of the organs, as the organs may not be properly screened or matched, and the surgical procedures may be performed by unqualified individuals in unsafe conditions. Organ trafficking is a growing problem, and it is a major challenge for governments and international organizations to combat it.
