Northern Mariana Islands

The Northern Mariana Islands are a group of 15 islands located in the western Pacific Ocean. The islands are a territory of the United States and are an unincorporated territory, which means that they are not a state, but they are under the jurisdiction of the United States. The Northern Mariana Islands are located about three-quarters of the way from Hawaii to the Philippines and are made up of three main island groups: the Northern Islands, the Rota Islands, and the Saipan Islands. The capital of the Northern Mariana Islands is Saipan, which is located on the island of the same name.

The population of the Northern Mariana Islands is primarily of Chamorro and Carolinian descent, and the official languages of the territory are English and Chamorro. The Northern Mariana Islands are an important location for the United States, as they are home to a number of military bases and other facilities. They are also an important economic and cultural center in the western Pacific region. The Northern Mariana Islands are known for their beautiful beaches, clear waters, and diverse marine life, and they are a popular tourist destination.
