National Security

National security refers to the measures taken by a government to protect the country and its citizens from external and internal threats. National security includes a range of activities, including intelligence gathering, military defense, border control, and cybersecurity. National security is a key concern for governments around the world, as threats to national security can come from a variety of sources, including foreign governments, terrorist organizations, and cyber criminals. Ensuring national security requires a combination of prevention, preparedness, and response measures. Governments may also work with international partners and organizations to address national security threats that cross national borders.
