Motel

A motel is a type of hotel that is typically smaller in scale and provides accommodations for travelers on a more transient basis. Motels are often located along highways and are designed to provide a place for people to rest while they are traveling. They typically offer basic amenities such as beds, a private bathroom, and sometimes a small sitting area or kitchenette. Motels may also have on-site parking for guests’ vehicles.

Motels are generally less expensive than traditional hotels, and they are often used by travelers who are on a budget or who are only staying for a short period of time. Some motels may offer additional amenities such as a swimming pool or continental breakfast, but these vary from one location to another. Motels may also be used as temporary housing for people who are in transition or who are unable to secure more permanent housing.
