Migrant Worker

A migrant worker is an individual who moves from one place to another, typically across national borders, to work in another country or region. Migrant workers may be attracted to other countries or regions by the availability of jobs, higher wages, or other economic opportunities. Migrant workers often face a range of challenges, including language barriers, discrimination, and exploitation. Migrant workers may be employed in a variety of different industries, including agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. The rights and protections of migrant workers vary depending on the laws and policies of the countries in which they work. Some countries have laws that specifically protect the rights of migrant workers, while others do not.
