Lagos

Lagos is a city in Nigeria and one of the largest and fastest-growing cities in Africa. In the context of human trafficking, Lagos is a major source, transit, and destination point for trafficking victims. Traffickers may target vulnerable individuals, including children, women, and migrants, in Lagos and transport them to other parts of Nigeria or other countries for exploitation. The Nigerian government and international organizations have undertaken a range of efforts to combat trafficking in Lagos and other parts of the country, including prevention campaigns, victim support programs, and law enforcement initiatives.
