The Ku Klux Klan, or KKK, is a white supremacist organization that was founded in the United States in the late 1860s. The Klan has a long history of violence and terrorism against people who are not white, including African Americans, Jews, and other minority groups. The group is known for its white hoods and robes, which are meant to represent their belief in white supremacy and to intimidate their victims. Despite the fact that the Klan has been officially outlawed in the United States for many years, there are still some individuals and groups who continue to identify with the Klan and its hateful ideology.
