ISB Trader

An ISB trader is an individual or entity that buys and sells International Sovereign Bonds (ISBs). ISBs are a type of government bond issued by a sovereign (national) government and are typically traded on international capital markets. ISBs are issued in foreign currencies, such as the US dollar or the euro, and are considered to be relatively safe investments, although their value can be affected by a range of economic and political factors. ISB traders may work for financial institutions, such as banks or brokerages, or may be independent traders. ISB traders are responsible for buying and selling ISBs on behalf of their clients or for their own account, and may use a variety of strategies to buy and sell these bonds.
