ISB Holder

An ISB holder is an individual or entity that holds International Sovereign Bonds (ISBs). ISBs are a type of government bond issued by a sovereign (national) government and are typically traded on international capital markets. ISBs are issued in foreign currencies, such as the US dollar or the euro, and are considered to be relatively safe investments, although their value can be affected by a range of economic and political factors. ISB holders are exposed to credit risk, which is the risk that the issuing government will default on its debt obligations, and to currency risk, which is the risk that changes in exchange rates will affect the value of the bond. ISB holders may include individual investors, financial institutions, and other investors.
