Intervention

An intervention is a structured, formal process that is designed to help an individual who is struggling with a problem or issue, such as addiction, mental illness, or other challenges. An intervention involves the participation of friends, family members, or other concerned individuals who come together to confront the individual and to express their concern and support. The goal of an intervention is to encourage the individual to seek help and to make positive changes in their life.

Interventions may be facilitated by a trained professional, such as a therapist or counselor, who can help guide the process and provide support and guidance to the participants.

Interventions can be a powerful tool for helping individuals to overcome challenges and to improve their health and well-being.

‘Save the Children’ and the Truth About Human Trafficking in East Tennessee

While this hashtag may have started out with good intentions to spread awareness about human trafficking, many popular social media hashtags and movements can devolve into perpetuating something more mythical than grounded.
