INTERPOL

INTERPOL is the International Criminal Police Organization, an intergovernmental organization that facilitates international police cooperation. It was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Lyon, France. INTERPOL has 190 member countries, and provides a range of services and resources to support international law enforcement efforts. These include databases of criminal records and other information, training and capacity-building programs, and support for international police operations. INTERPOL also issues international arrest warrants and assists in the extradition of criminals between member countries. Its work is focused on preventing and combating transnational crimes, such as terrorism, cybercrime, and human trafficking.
