IJM

The International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global nonprofit organization that works to combat human trafficking, forced labor, and other forms of violence against the vulnerable. The organization was founded in 1997 and operates in over 20 countries around the world, partnering with local governments, law enforcement agencies, and other organizations to rescue victims and bring perpetrators to justice. IJM also engages in advocacy and public awareness campaigns to promote systemic change and improve the response to human trafficking and other forms of violence.

IJM is a leading organization in the fight against human trafficking, with a particular focus on rescuing victims and bringing traffickers to justice. The organization operates a range of programs, including anti-trafficking investigations, legal services for victims, and training and capacity-building for law enforcement agencies and governments. IJM also engages in advocacy efforts to promote changes in laws and policies related to trafficking and other forms of violence. The organization has been instrumental in the rescue of thousands of victims of trafficking and has contributed to significant improvements in the response to trafficking in many countries around the world. However, much work remains to be done, and IJM continues to work towards its vision of a world without slavery and other forms of violence against the vulnerable.
