Identification

Identification is the process of establishing or verifying the identity of an individual or object. Identification typically involves comparing a set of characteristics or traits, such as fingerprints, DNA, or facial features, to a reference or database to determine if there is a match. Identification is used in a variety of contexts, including security, forensics, and personal identification. For example, a police officer may use identification to determine if a suspect is a known criminal, or a border control agent may use identification to verify the identity of a traveler. Identification can be done manually, using visual inspection or other methods, or it can be done automatically, using computer algorithms or other technology.

But she slowly came to understand that the relationship was abusive, and she needed to break free. That part was hard enough. What she wasn’t counting on was how difficult it would be to rebuild her life – including her finances. She couldn’t even rent an apartment with a credit history like that. And until recently, there was no clear pathway for getting her credit cleaned up.
