Fashion

Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery in which individuals are recruited, transported, and held against their will for the purpose of exploitation, such as forced labor or sexual exploitation. The fashion industry has been criticized for its role in facilitating human trafficking, particularly in the production of clothing and other fashion items. There have been numerous reports of forced labor and other forms of exploitation in the fashion industry, including in the production of clothing in developing countries. Some fashion companies have been accused of turning a blind eye to labor abuses in their supply chains and of not taking sufficient steps to prevent human trafficking. There have been calls for greater transparency and accountability in the fashion industry to address these issues.
