Fall Army Worms

Fall army worms are a type of insect pest that can cause significant damage to crops, particularly corn and other grasses. Fall army worms are native to the Americas and have a wide range, extending from the United States to South America. They get their name from their behavior of marching in large numbers, or “armies,” and are a major pest in many agricultural areas. Fall army worms are known for their voracious appetite and can defoliate plants and reduce crop yields. They are difficult to control and can be resistant to some pesticides.
