CoP-27

CoP-27 is an abbreviation that could refer to the 27th Conference of the Parties (CoP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The UNFCCC is an international treaty that aims to address climate change and was adopted in 1992. The Conference of the Parties is the highest decision-making body of the UNFCCC and is composed of representatives of the Parties to the treaty. The CoP meets annually to review progress on implementing the UNFCCC and to negotiate further steps to address climate change. CoP-27 would therefore be the 27th meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
