Club de Paris

The Club de Paris is an informal group of official and private creditors that works to address the debt problems of sovereign states. The group, which was formed in 1956, is not a formal organization and does not have a fixed membership. Its purpose is to provide a forum for discussions and negotiations on debt restructuring and other financial issues.
