Bonded Labor

Bonded labor, also known as debt bondage or debt slavery, is a form of involuntary labor in which a person is forced to work in order to pay off a debt. It is a practice that has been illegal in many countries for many years, but it still persists in some parts of the world. Bonded labor is often used as a means of exploitation, particularly of vulnerable people who are unable to pay off their debts. This can result in individuals being trapped in a cycle of poverty and forced labor for many years, or even for their entire lives. Bonded labor is a serious violation of human rights and a form of modern slavery.
