World Cup

The World Cup is an international soccer tournament that is held every four years. It is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and is the most prestigious event in the sport. The World Cup is contested by the senior men’s national teams of the member countries of FIFA, and it is the world’s most widely viewed and followed sporting event. The tournament consists of a qualification phase and a final knockout stage, and the winning team is crowned world champions. The World Cup has been held every four years since 1930, except for 1942 and 1946, when it was cancelled due to World War II.
