Trafficking in persons, also known as human trafficking, is a crime that involves the exploitation of individuals for labor or commercial sex through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. It is a global problem that affects people of all ages, genders, and nationalities, and it can take many forms, including sex trafficking, forced labor, and domestic servitude. Trafficking in persons is a serious violation of human rights, and it is often associated with other crimes, such as organized crime, money laundering, and corruption.
