Non-Profit

A non-profit organization, also known as a non-governmental organization or NGO, is an organization that is not primarily focused on making a profit. Non-profit organizations are typically established to serve a specific social cause or to promote a particular mission. They may be involved in a wide range of activities, including education, research, social services, environmental protection, and health care.

Non-profit organizations rely on funding from various sources, such as donations, grants, and sponsorships, to support their operations. They are typically governed by a board of directors or trustees who are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities and making decisions about its direction and priorities.

Non-profit organizations play a vital role in many communities around the world, providing important services and addressing important social issues. Many people choose to volunteer their time or donate money to non-profit organizations in order to support the causes they care about.
