McCain Institute

The McCain Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan think tank located in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 2012 and is named after the late Senator John McCain. The institute focuses on advancing character-driven global leadership and effective governance. It works on a variety of issues, including human rights, national security, and the rule of law. The institute also offers a number of programs and initiatives, such as the McCain Institute Next Generation Leaders program and the Human Rights Defenders program.

The McCain Institute for International Leadership is funded through a combination of private donations, corporate sponsorships, and grants from other organizations. Some of the Institute’s major donors and sponsors include the Charles Koch Institute, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation. The Institute also receives support from the Arizona State University, where it is based. However, it is important to note that the Institute operates independently from the university and is not affiliated with any political party or ideology.
