Hindu

Hinduism is a major world religion practiced primarily in India and other parts of Southeast Asia. In the context of human trafficking, members of the Hindu community may be particularly vulnerable to trafficking due to factors such as poverty, social marginalization, and lack of education. Traffickers may exploit the cultural and religious practices of the Hindu community, such as the caste system, to control and exploit victims. Additionally, trafficking victims may be subjected to forced conversion or religious indoctrination as a means of further controlling them.
