ECPAT

ECPAT is an international organization that is dedicated to combating the sexual exploitation of children. ECPAT stands for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography, and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes. The organization was founded in Thailand in 1990, and now operates in more than 100 countries around the world.

ECPAT works to raise awareness about the sexual exploitation of children, advocate for stronger legal protections and policies, and provide support and services to victims and survivors of exploitation. The organization also works to promote responsible tourism and raise awareness about the risks of child exploitation in travel and tourism industries.

ECPAT collaborates with governments, civil society organizations, and the private sector to promote child rights and combat the sexual exploitation of children. The organization is also involved in research and advocacy efforts, and works to build capacity among communities and organizations to prevent and respond to the sexual exploitation of children.
