Coalition Against Trafficking in Women

A coalition against trafficking in women is a group of organizations and individuals that work together to combat the exploitation and abuse of women through human trafficking. This type of coalition may be focused on a specific region or country, or may be a global network working to address the issue on a wider scale.

Coalitions against trafficking in women may work on a variety of efforts to combat trafficking and support victims, including:

  • Advocacy: Working to raise awareness about the issue of trafficking in women and to advocate for policies and practices that will help to prevent it.
  • Education and outreach: Providing information and resources to communities and individuals to help them understand the issue of trafficking in women and how to recognize and report it.
  • Support and services: Providing assistance and support to victims of trafficking, including legal assistance, housing, and healthcare.
  • Research and analysis: Conducting research and collecting data to better understand the scope and nature of trafficking in women and to inform the development of effective strategies for combating it.
  • Collaboration: Working with other organizations and agencies to share information and coordinate efforts to combat trafficking in women.
