Anti-slavery refers to efforts to end the practice of slavery. This can include both historical and contemporary efforts to end slavery and other forms of exploitation. Historically, the anti-slavery movement was a global movement that emerged in the 18th and 19th centuries, and it played a key role in the eventual abolition of slavery in many countries around the world. Today, the anti-slavery movement continues to work towards ending modern slavery and human trafficking. This often involves efforts to raise awareness, support victims, and advocate for policies and practices that will help to end slavery.
